Hello from Larry Espe and Lesley Lahaye, school district
administrators in British Columbia, Canada. We are very interested in
the use of AI as a framework for systems change in public education.
We are working on a joint dissertation with the Taos Tilburg PhD
program, on this topic. Our work has involved an action research
project which seeks to engage the voices of multiple stake holders in
shaping the future of schools in our district. We have implemented a
formal AI process in our community which has resulted in the
formation of action teams to continue work on initiatives brought
forward at our Summit. These initiatives have the potential to lead
to both incremental and transformational change. We are also tracking
instances of improvisational application of AI principles in the work
of teachers and administrators. We are very interested in the
possibility of a strength focussed approaches manual for use in
schools. We would like to talk more about this kind of a resource.
