hi

i agree, I think Belbin is right - it is a strengths based model for both
self & group mutual understanding & allows everyone to play to their own
particular strengths as well as appreciate what others can contribute.

It is also pre-structured to be adaptive to the typical range of activities
that any successful team needs to master.
