Roger and everyone:? I think that is exactly what President Obama has done: told us that we are all responsible for where we are in the economy.?? He said so in his Inaugural Address,?in his state of the union and in other public comments.

Possibly, our understanding of the phrase "politically incorrect" is not the
same. Perhaps, I should have said: politically popular, or politically
expedient; as it seems that no politician will tell the electorate that they
must take responsibility for their actions and have a chance of getting
elected.
