[Ailist] The Poetic Principle

When I first ran into AI I loved  most of the ideas and the information - almost from the first word I read    One real challenge for me was to understand the value of "The Poetic Principle". But  - just a few minutes ago I wrote a short poem to thank someone - and then a thought ran across my mind -

 "When I come into a full embodied experience of beauty ---  as Wordswoth said, "my heart leaps up""

(Only now  I want to change it to

 "My heart leaps up when I behold
  A rainbow in my mind"

So - if you feel like it  -- tell about a time you beheld  a rainbow in your mind

 (A big part of the reason AI seemed so easy to me was  because I had been taught to ask the question  "Tell me about an experience that brought you joy" in a Neuro Linguistic Prgramming" course -  and so was familiar with its power to connect people, to elevate feeling states, and to inspire thoughts.  I have since found that people who have little conscious experience of deliberately helping the mind to fly can require some assistance to become "enlightened"
