Irene Bugge wanted a reference for the classic AI bowling study. 

It was originally documented in the "Positive Image, Positive Action"
Chapter of the Appreciative Management & Leadership book by Cooperrider and
Srivastva. You can view this classic AI article online at:
http://www.stipes.com/aichap2.htm When I went there to check out the
reference for the study, it was not included with the article on the site.
So I looked it up in the original book (I believe it's out of print) as
follows:

Kirschenbaum, D. "Self Regulation & Sport Psychology: Nurturing an Emerging
