Dear Colleagues: Dennis Baird who is the organizer in chief for the AI
Colloquy in Bethel this summer wrote the following information. I would love
to meet you in Bethel! We have a great program and lots of time for
generative conversations and some hanging out together. Ralph and I will be
hosting a Barbeque southern style for everyone one night. (I promise HE is
doing the cooking since some of you know that he is a master chef and I am
hopeless in the kitchen!) Hope to see you there. If you have questions, drop
me a line or call. You can pay when you get to Bethel if that works better,
but let NTL know you're coming so we reach our quota! Hugs, Jane  (And

If you have been thinking of coming to the Appreciative Inquiry Colloquy but
have not finally decided, now is the time to act. 

 

>From 23 -26 July in Bethel, Maine, USA - an event, a dialogue, is planned
for AI Practitioners and those who just plain appreciate Appreciative
Inquiry! 

 

The dialogue will come from your concerns and the multitude of experiences
of many practitioners, both new and VERY experienced, who want to share
insights, experiences, and guidelines just in the name of improving the
field of AI:

 

We will use an Open-Space format with peer-based discussions to address your
concerns, issues and insights.  

 

In addition we will have formal presentations on:

 

- Social Construction with Sheila McNamee

- AI for Whole Systems with David Shaked (combining six sigma and AI) and
Dan Saint talking about SOAR

- AI and Valuation with Mette Jacobsgaard

- Change Your Questions; Change Your Life with Marilee Adams

- AI for Organization Leaders with Joep deJong and Dan Saint   

 

Keeping true to the NTL tradition, there will be the morning Sunrise
Seminars!

 

And, most important, there will be you and the equally famous
"between-the-breaks" informal discussions (sometime lasting well beyond
midnight!) over BBQs, dinner, drinks - the normal NTL event!!

 

But we have a problem.  If you don't register you can't come.
