[Ailist] a i and a struggling marriage: suggestions please

Francis,
One approach might be for them to engage in a conversation where they are
each truly seeking to understand the other person--with no agenda of their
own, no desire, no intent to fix or change, but simply to understand, get to
know, and learn who the other is--what gives them joy, what energizes and
excites them, what dreams they have, what fears keep them from moving
towards their dreams.

If they can do this, they may either fall in love all over again or realize
they do not belong together.  Either one is okay.
In the process, they will have honored one another by truly seeing one
another.
