After listening to Parker J. Palmer speak with Bill Moyers on his three story-types archetype, I used them while facilitating a Board retreat yesterday. An outpouring ensued. It was electric. Now the Board wants more of this type of exchange and with frequency. They said, "Look at us right now. This is dynamic. We are hungry for this." Palmer's invitation to access stories of self through the hurts and hopes that bring us here now was accepted with gusto...
