We’re editing the Research Notes section of the AI Practitioner, and
we’d like to focus on 'beginning AI research' in the next column.
People may have experienced challenges in coming across AI for the
first time, and trying to place it in the context of research
methodology, or they may have experienced some issues when trying to
get a proposal accepted. Again, there may be other issues that we
haven’t thought of.
If you have any comments or thoughts on beginning AI research, we’d
love to invite your contributions.
We’re looking for short pieces, up to 300 words long, written in a
fairly informal manner. We’d like these contributions by March 2nd
so that we can get them ready for publication, and that we can write
a commentary which identifies key ideas.
If you think you might be able to make contribution, please let us
know, and if you have any questions, please get in touch with us, and
we’ll do our best to answer them.
We’re also keen to include items on ongoing research, to let people
know what work is going on. If you have any items that might fit with
this, then please send us a summary.
