[Ailist] Social Constructionism

Hi Bill,

Your question, and the replies have been circulating in my head and a
question keeps coming up - so here it is - presented rhetorically - not
seeking an answer.

When we say social construction and social constrution of reality - what do
we mean? Can it be described conceptually, or is it better illustrated by
some examples.

And now ----- it seems to me that if people in pairs were to ask each other
about times when they experienced a shift in reality - and then partners
reported out some examples the idea of simulteneity and social construction
would both be experienced and illustrated by example - and if some of the
examples were poignant - some aspects of the poetic principle would also be
made present (to me part of the poetic principle is that beauty creates
energy, so does connection)

(When I started writing I did not plan on answering - it just grew.)

Hmmm, I enjoyed that

Mike

PS it seems to me that that approach could also be considered part of
"becoming comfortable with the language" as was discussed at the Vancouver
SOAR Symposium
