Hi Folks

A couple of weeks ago there wassome conversation about using appreciative
inquiry in church settings especially with regard to stewardship. The main focus
of my work is training church leaders to use the appreciative way in their
ministry. I have just posted a chapter for a book on transitional ministry on my
website. It is an integration of appreciative inquiry and theological reflection on
change dynamics. Its title is:

Ensuring Change is a Blessing: The Appreciative Inquiry Based Way of Leading
Transitions.

If you are interested, you can find it at:
http://www.clergyleadership.com/handouts/Transitional-Ministry-Blessing.pdf

I will also be conducting an Introduction to Appreciative Inquiry and Appreciative
Coaching ion San Francisco October 27-31. This training would be of interest to
church leaders, or those who work with church leaders, or those who seek to
offer personal and executive coaching from an appreciative inquiry perspective
that also uses, rather than ignores or denies, their spiritual resources.
