Hi all
My personal favorite is that of the YMCA> YMCAs are world pioneers in swimming instruction and aquatics programs starting in 1910, the YMCA launched the first Teaching America to Swim campaign:
We aim to, “teach every boy and young man in North America, who does not know how, to swim.”

I know it is where I learned how to swim and where I took my children for swimming lessons. The head of the program at the time was Jane Lawrence, who could boast that she taught three generations how to swim!
