Hi Maureen,

As it happens, I compiled a list of resources that people had provided me. I
did this about 3 years ago and so I'm not sure how current the information
is, but the document I compiled is on the Commons site. Here's the link:
http://appreciativeinquiry.case.edu/practice/organizationDetail.cfm?coid=764
1.

I hope this is helpful.

Best regards,
Bill

Subject: [Ailist] Re: AI projects with Aboriginal Groups

Hi
I have been asked if I know of any AI work with Aboriginal groups (Canada,
US, Australia, NZ etc.).

I am aware of:
- IISD work in Northern Manitoba, Integrating Aboriginal Values into Land
Use and Resource Management: (Manitoba)http://www.iisd.org/ai/waterhen.htm.

- An example of AI as a methodolgy for child welfare research in
Saskatchewan Aboriginal communities (Saskatchewan)
http://www.cecw-cepb.ca/files/file/en/TransmissionofValues51E.pdf

- AI: a method for measuring the impact of a project on the well-being of
an Indigenous community (Australia)
http://www.healthpromotion.org.au/members/journals/dec04/HPJA_2004_3_MURPHY.
pdf

- The Way of the Tireless Runner: Using AI to guide curriculum assessment
for integrating aboriginal content into health programs (BC)
http://firstnationspedagogy.com/ApprecInquiry_FNations.html

Can anyone provide me with information on other projects, in particular any
healthcare projects.

I would be happy to summarize information sent and report back to the
listserv.

regards
Mo
