[Ailist] Any new takes on facilitating?

Hi all --

I've been enjoying the discussions of court jesters. Someone I worked with years ago always said our job as OD consultants was to be the lunatic fringe. If that was our job, we were doing it well.

My request today is for the next issue of Consulting Today. This summer we will do an issue on Facilitating. There are some great new things we've heard of in this important field, but we suspect we haven't heard of all the cool stuff that's happening. You all have been so helpful in the past (Adapting Appreciative Inquiry continues to be one of our most popular issues, along with the Leadership topics and Organizational Change -- thanks to some talented writers from this group).

So we are once again asking you to consider who you know who might have something important to say about Facilitation. We will have an article from Marv Weisbord, from his new book, and articles from Steve Davis and Glenn Parker, for sure. We need more. So who do you know that we ought to talk to? As always, the articles will be written for experienced practitioners, will be brief (1000 - 2500 words), and very very practical. Check past issues at www.consultingtoday.com if there are questions, or contact me at editor at consultingtoday.com.

Thanks so much!

Paula Griffin
