[Ailist] Announcing a new type of column: Positive Practice @ Work

  Good morning:
   
  I'm writing to announce the launch of a new kind of column, Positive Practice at Work©. I'll alternate these with the This Appreciative Moment columns that I've been writing and sending out via email for a couple of years. But first, late-breaking news: My book, Appreciative Moments: Stories and Practices for Living and Working Appreciatively, is due to be published within the next two weeks! Stay tuned for a formal 'birth announcement.'
   
  The inaugural column, Infuse Your Brand With Positivity., is attached. The “Positive Practice at Work” columns stem from my desire to provide very practical applications of Appreciative Inquiry and positive psychology. I have been profoundly impressed by their implications for creating more productive, profitable, humane, and joyous workplaces and businesses. I intend to explore these implications through columns under the Positive Practice @ Work©” banner. To do this, I request your help, in two ways:
   
  One: please e-mail me (offline) with comments, questions, and reactions to this first column and to subsequent ones. That will tell me if I’m on-track.
   
  Two: e-mail me (again, offline) with suggested topics related to the world of work that you would like to see me explore through these columns.  
   
  Since I first announced the Appreciative Moments columns in the AI listserve, there have been many new listserve members, who may not know about these columns. If you'd like to receive the two kinds of columns, please send me an email. (You can also see six prior Appreciative Moments columns by following the Free Stuff link on my website, www.edwardjacobson.com.)
   
  And finally, I want to  thank the many Listserve readers, for your support and encouragement over these two years of writing and back-and-forthing with you.
