Hi everyone,

I thought I would like to know that there is a new DVD out – it is  
about the impact of AI on research.

In the DVD you'll get:
- An international overview of how AI is used in academic research  
and education
- Insights into AI as a research method and the scientific implications
- Good arguments for using AI in academic research and education

Included in the DVD:
- Discussions and interviews with researchers, Ph D students, and  
consultants carried out during an AI & Research event in Gateshead
- November 2007 AI Practitioner issue 'Impact of Appreciative Inquiry  
on Research: Experiences, Reflections and Thoughts for the Future'.  
Guest editors were Dr. Lena Holmberg, Sweden and Professor Jan Reed, UK.
- powerpoint presentation they used during the AI & Research event  
outlining key points and the process used during the day.
