Hello, I've long been a lurker on this list and have already benefited from so much wisdom, insight and fun.  

I've run a couple of small summit style inquiries and tend to use AI as a background colour to all I do.....but I'm just about to embark on a much bigger project with a university running a full inquiry into moments of great customer services.   The overall aim of the project is to light some bonfires about excellent customer service in general and to improve the way the university deals with all its stakeholders, but particularly internal ones.

We have recruited a cross organisational design team of about 7 people and next week I have my first meeting with them all.  I'm planning to give them some info about AI and do a mini experiential session ending with a discussion about how we might proceed with the project, but I've never worked with a design group before so am looking for some advice.   

What have been your best experiences of working with design groups?  Which are the crucial bits to get right at the initial start up phase?  

Would appreciate any thoughts or tips
