Dear friends and colleagues,
I am posting below information about the upcoming World Open Space on Open Space conference (WOSonOS), which will take place July 21-28, 2008 in San Francisco, Calif., USA.
Many, I am sure, are familiar with this sister of Appreciative Inquiry, Open Space Technology. Indeed, sometimes they are blended or used in combination.
This is the first time in 8 years the world gathering of Open Space Technology facilitators is taking place in the USA, and this conference is all the more significant in that it is taking place in a city which is a hub for conversation process-related work.
This event is a huge opportunity on many levels, including for exploring the connections and synergies between OST and AI.
SF Bay Area Lisa Heft facilitator and the San Francisco WOSonOS host team are organizing this conference. Lisa is a *very* welcoming host, and if you are not yet familiar with OST, she'll be offering an OST learning workshop right before the conference.
Also, we will be celebrating the appearance of the 3rd edition of the Open Space Technology User's Guide before the conference with OST's originator, Harrison Owen.
Information below.
appreciatively,
Raffi
