I may have strayed way off topic, but I was struck by one comment, ³the West
is under siege.²  Is that an accurate, objective statement of current
reality?  Does it help us dream appreciatively?  Or, not?

Here¹s a link to a map detailing US military bases worldwide from about 5
years ago.  There are more now!  This is a shocking map!

After looking at this map, I wonder who is the sieger and who are the
seigees?

Just wondering?  And are all these bases in service of the US (and now
Canada¹s) way of dealing with what Kevin called the ³diversity challenge².
Encouraging diversity?  Or preventing it?  HmmmŠ?
