With this wonderful conversation happening on this listserve about dialogue, I thought it appropriate to send you this announcement. Next Fall the Taos Institute is holding a conference specifically focused on Dialogues that Deliver. This would be a wonderful opportunity to continue this conversation in person, face-to-face, exploring those elements of dialogue: time, space, heart, language, invitation, etc. that do make a difference in our lives and world.

DIALOGUES THAT DELIVER: GENERATIVE PRACTICES IN COLLABORATION, CONFLICT, AND COMMUNITY, Sept. 25-28, 2008 in Sarasota Florida. The Founders of the Taos Institute, Harlene Anderson, David Cooperrider, Ken and Mary Gergen, Sheila McNamee, Suresh Srivastva, and Diana Whitney, will join together for the opening plenary to share their experiences with the beginnings of the institute, looking over the past 15 years, and visions for moving forward. As you know relational, collaborative, and appreciative practices are the cornerstone for looking at the world from a social constructionist perspective.
