Second and third that... and hello Charlotte

I guess the point is that appreciation is a choice...and not always the
easiest one. I am reading Eat,Pray,Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. I'm only
in the Rome part so don't tell me the end, however having been to Rome,
I'm stuck by her description of experiencing happiness in that wonderful
city as a choice... and how she chose not to go to museums etc. just to
experience through language, the beauty of Italy and Italian
people...her enabling story.
Any other books people are reading that exemplify that right to choose
the strength giving alternative?

There are people who put their dreams in a little box and say, Yes, I've
got dreams, of course I've got dreams.
Then they put the box away and bring it out once in awhile to look in
it, and yep, they're still there. - Erma Louise Bombeck
