Hi Joan,

We helped Newark Beth Israel Hospital in New Jersey to improve patient safety by using AI to redesign the process of transferring patients from the emergency department to a heart unit. They did an inquiry around "Exceptional Patient Handoffs" and implemented a number of innovations that made care safer and more satisfying for patients.

You can read more the process and outcomes here:

Hi all
Has anyone done any work with health care to develop patient safety guidelines? I would greatly appreciate any feedback you can offer. A client of mine who has a black belt in Six Sigma has become an AI advocate in her system. She has decided to use AI after a critical patient safety issue has arisen.

Warmly
Joan
