Dear Nandan: I agree with Mary's reply to you. I looked you up on the web
and discovered that you are in Hyderabad. My friend and colleague, Harish
(see contact information below) is part of a global group of people who
offer training in Appreciative Inquiry.
Harish is a Board Member of the Indian Society for Applied Behavioral
Sciences (ISABS) that is a partner institution of the NTL Institute of
Applied Behavioral Sciences here in the US. NTL is the organization that
created the field of Organization Development (OD) in the 1950's and is
still the premier organization for training OD Consultants.
Through our close partnership with ISABS, we are planning to offer a
Certificate program in India, right there in Hyderabad! I believe, also,
that Harish and Tom Osborn (who has been working with AI for a decade) will
be offering an Introductory course in India soon. I'm sure he will be glad
to chat with you about the possibilities.
You'll see below the name of the book I wrote that is designed to be a guide
for AI consultant/practitioners. It may be useful to you. Amazon still has
it listed.
Welcome to the AI community! And let me know if I can be of further
assistance.
Appreciatively,
Jane Watkins

Hi Nandan, One of the major issues that has been of importance to the AI
folks is that the perspective of AI is not reduced to a technique. It is
not a technique but a way of life, or a way of relating that is oriented to
an appreciative approach. Your question is not unsurprising, but it is not
the approach that is ideal, from an AI point of view. It is similar to
asking if there is an ebook that would be able to pinpoint the techniques of
Buddhism. So.. I recommend that you consider attending a workshop that
specializes in AI.. as a way of being in the world. You might find it very
helpful in the ways that you seek help. Best wishes, Mary Gergen
