[Ailist] AI case studies in engineering companies

Hi Richard,

I have worked extensively with computer science engineers and AI has been
extremely beneficial. I have found, however, that the language can get in
the way, so I don't use the words, or explain the concepts, just do it. We
share stories of excellent teams, innovations, etc., then identify the key
themes, write provocative propositions (usually I term these as conditions
of future success) etc.

Strategy: We used AI to define the future nature and direction of the
organization. And then, utilized the ideas as we rolled it out throughout
the 1600 person engineering group, gathering feedback on the strategy and
having everyone have input to that strategy. Created alignment, and two
years later, they're still on track for implementation.

Merger & Acquisition: Used AI to identify the best of the former
organizations and as a way to shift the organization culture to take
advantage of the best. Took unwanted turnover from 35% to 1% annualized.

Innovation: Used AI to design an innovation process for a computer company.
Created 'targeted innovation' process wherein a request for innovative ideas
about a specific subject was announced across the organization. Resulted in
massive responses to these targeted requests.

Subject: [Ailist] AI case studies in engineering companies

Hi,

Does anyone have AI case studies in an engineering environment. I am looking
at an AI project within an Engineering company to help with Innovation,
strategy and teambuilding. I was wondering how engineers have found the AI
process and particularly British engineers?

Kind regards,

Richard
