Have you ever tried to light a fire with one log - and when that didn't work too well added a second log with a narrow gap beween them - a gap that allows an updraft to fan the flames and make the fire roar.

Two people talking together have an enormous ability to do really really really useful things.

This idea works at both the level of two - and at the level of many pairs. 

At the level of two -  two people talking together can,
    - hugely encourage each others creativity
    - hugely activate creativity
    - create - in moments - feelings of happiness, connection, worth, fun, optimism, capability
    - create quickly an increase in each individual's belief in their abilty to be an "actively passive" listening machine and resource for other people - that is - not only do it             once as a flook - but build belief in themselves and the process.
    - create quickly an increase in an individual's abilty to be a high powered  "actively passive" listening machine and resource for other people - that is - not only build the             belief but actually "download the software", learn how to use it and  integrate it into their way of being and acting.
    - have a wonderful time.

At the level of many pairs the idea that two people talking together can be such a powerful agency for human good would have a vast a effect.

Keeping in mind that approaching AI from the level of two represents a different way of introducing the Power of Appreciative Processes to groups in a very comfortable and scalable way.
