I think this is a great reminder for everyone to be careful, ethical, and professional when refering to research--on happiness or anything.  We certainly don't want to be our own enemies when talking about such an important thing.  My husband is a journalist and has to deal with sloppy, lazy media ethics on a regular basis.  Let's keep the confusion between correlation and causation to the humor/satire realm--which makes it true that global warming is caused by the decline in the number of pirates. All hail the flying spaghetti monster!
