about 15 years ago Steve Cato and I replicated this experiment with a
team from the Department of the Army.

Our objective was to see the effect of positive feedback on two
bowling teams - not sure of the skill levels of the players but I do
remember that team scores went up with positive feedback and that
giving unconditional positive feedback was initially challenging for
these guys.

The learning seemed highest around giving and receiving accurate
useful positive feedback.

Changing the setting from the office to the bowling ally made for a
"stickeyer" take away..
