Your colleague, if a helping professional, may want to look into
MentorCoach <http://MentorCoach.com>. Their focus is on working with
helping profesisonals, they offer an ICF accredited coach certification
preparation program, and they put an emphasis on integrating positive
psychology into coaching. Their courses are taught through live audio
teleconferencing, an idea I had considerable hesitation about at first,
but after taking several courses, found quite acceptable. I'm impressed
(if surprised) that it's possible to conduct pretty interactive and
well-facilitated teleconferences.

I have a young colleague who is interested in pursuing coaching training
(and accreditation). The main providers seem to be International
Coaching Federation and Coach U. Does anyone know about how these two
compare?
