Hi Esther

As far as I know the International Coach Federation approves/certifies training
programs but does not provide training. coach U is an approved ICF accredited
program.

Ben Dean has a program. He works with Seligman in the positive psychology
and authentic happiness field.

There are several other ICF approved programs as well. Do a google on coach
training.

Your young colleague also needs to consider what type of coaching they want to
do. Life coaching, executive coaching and find a training program that would
meets their needs.

I have an appreciative coach training program that is not ICF approved (It is part
of the APA and NBCC continuing education program.) It is oriented to working
with clergy or folk who want to integrate their spirituality into their coaching.
