Jack Gibb was a primary mentor of mine.  He was an
editor, along with Lippitt, of what I believe was the
most important OD book early on. It was entitled
"T-Group Theory and Laboratory Method" He said have no
fear, trust, be open, takes risks, catch the energy,
realize your potential, be positive,  be present in
your presence (his phrase was with-ness) and have
fun!!  It seems to me that he embodied aspects of the
famed "FISH PHILOSOPHY!!!" 

So let me take a risk and say that i am looking for
any organizations that value AI, are in love with the
fish philosophy or aspire to bring "Resonance" into
their organization.

I have been invited by Charthouse to integrate FISH!
philosophy with the Dannenmiller!  Whole System
Transformation journey and AI. 

We are looking for a company that wants to do R and D
around the integration of the two. So the price could
be right. Our purpose is to train with depth
essentially one internal consultant to facilitate AI
large group summits with a FISH flavor... All while,
as my love Kathie, oft said  inspiring the
organization or a pilot division to "Realize the
Magic".  Kathie, as many of you know,  used Gibb's
theory as one of the foundations of her work. 

My motivation is to begin to package my legacy. I
believe John at the Fish Philosophy Company can do
such in a most creative manner.  I wish to leave a
legacy around what I learned from  Gibb,  Lippitt (I
did my first large group facilitation with Ron in
1974),  Kathie ( who was Lippitt's closest mentee) and

Paul, Frischer Wind - AG fur
Organisationsentwicklungen recently emailed me and
said that he has now facilitated over 200 large group
3 day events. Kristine and I introduced him to large

As many of you know, like Kathie, I have a passion for
whole system work. Paul is one more proof that it
works. 

Know that I leave Wednesday  for the historic first
Asian OD Network conference in China. I will be
difficult to reach for a week but will have my Global
phone on just 4 u.   612-386-7891. 

It will have an AI flavor, Jim Ludaman will keynote.
There will be many presenting and attending that are
AI devotees. 

We are toying integrating the post Flordia
International AI conferene in Singapor the fall of 08.
We are hoping that Cooperrider will keynote and we
will do a collaboration with the AI community.

Two of my favorite people in the whole world will be
involved. Peter block ( in my opinion, the best od
teacher in the world and Peter Sorenson, who is taking
Don Cole's place in doing an incredible job of
spreading OD Globally.  Both of them will do keynotes.

Wish i could be with the 450-500 of you in Florida...
just do not have time. A client and friend, Paul Kope,
will present our work in the SOAR session. It was
chosen as one of three success stories by the a
Regional ASTD organization. Will be a great session.
Paul is the senior Internal OD consultant in our 7
state area.
