It sounds even more like a cult you start using words/phrases like:
- state of being
- novice
- being AI
- seemingly intuitive
Not that AI is a cult, but it does embrace some powerful stuffn as you describe. In the same way, six sigma embraces some powerful stuff and the same words/phrases could be said of six sigma.
This issue I am raising is that some people have only shallow experience in - and great enthusiasm for - only one of AI or six sigma (and not much else). These people can become zealots and find that the powerful stuff of AI clashes with the powerful stuff of six sigma. Introducing AI into a team that has that sort of shallow, but deep experience with six sigma could be very difficult.

Hello all,
I've been following the "Six Sigma" thread and the side conversations that
it has fostered.
...
'Jane's reminder that AI is a state of being is an important one. '
...
'Novices typically find models to be helpful learning tools.'
...
'Much of the AI literature contains the phrase "being AI." That really is attitudinal and it is at the heart of
what differentiates AI from other "approaches." '
....
'People are so impressed with the seemingly intuitive nature of AI'
