I have been asked to put together a team retreat where the purpose is cross-cultural collaboration and where 6 hours of each of 2 days will be spent volunteering in teams, planting trees, painting schools and doing environmental education with school children.

For the team building, I have the evening of the first night and about 3 hours on day 2 and day 3 and 3 hours in the morning of day 4 after which they go home.

In the evening of day 1 we will do appreciative interviews around cross-cultural collaboration and set the stage of discovery. We will break them up into groups of 12 that they will go through the week with, volunteering and working through the AI process so that on day 4, they present their recommendations to senior management and then are 'commissioned' to go and build a business case to present to make their dreams all happen.

I would like to take the 140 participants through a process of the 4 D's ending with the proposed execution.

I can clearly are the first night and the final day but am having trouble seeing the in-between parts. Can anyone help with how I would design this?

This is such a talented group and with such great ideas. Van you help me think it through?
