[Ailist] AI and Cultural compentency

I first want to thank those who responded to a post I sent out about 3 weeks
ago regarding a two-day workshop I was presenting for a group made up of
management and union folks. It was a great success! I'll now be working with
the group to support their follow-through on the goals and milestones they
set to fulfill on over the next year. 

 

I've been asked to put together a half-day introductory workshop on
Appreciative Inquiry for Cultural Competency. This request is based on my
experience with AI and background in facilitating issues of diversity and
cultural competency.  

 

Have any of you designed questions around cultural competency and diversity?
If you have direct experience in this area I would appreciate being in
direct communication with you. 

 

Additionally, thanks for all those who have contributed to the AI Commons
site. It has been very helpful.
