Hello Anu,
I have used material inspired from Dave Meier's Accelerated
Learning program. http://www.alcenter.com/alindex.html
He presents wonderful activity-based learning strategies with
understanding of different learning styles. While this doesn't
answer your question about character-building (I know there is stuff
out there, but can't put my finger on it), it does support excellent
teaching and curriculum development.
