I need a word to describe a field of study - I think we will have to invent
a new word as I don't think it exists yet. The word might become the name
of a new social science.

A working defiinition of the word will be something like "the study of how
people elicit feelings of confidence capabilityand happiness in a
conversation partner".

This is a serious (and fun?) request. There are many things people do to
help conversation partners feel confident, effective, and happy in the
moment. If we were to formalize the study of such practises we might find we
got more of them.

Mike

PS Cheri - I thought about "efficology" - Hmm would you like to be an
efficologist - sounds to me like I'd perform operations on the effluent
parts of the human body - but its a start.
