Hi Lionel,
Your sentence that I copied below includes "the issue," "realign underlying
mood," and "the new way."
I think there are many, many simultaneous "issues," always, so I am never
sure what THE issue might be.
AI does not focus on any "new way," to my knowledge. It moves toward
"provocative propositions" that are value centered and focused, that can
create new ways.
I suppose all OD efforts in some sense have to deal with "realigning," be it
underlying mood, or whatever. I have always been very uncomfortable with
that way of talking, much less organizing. If underlying structure and/or
culture shift in positive and strategically helpful directions, then I would
label that success.
