Roberta,
Your response highlights the difference between what we read about  
businesses and what we know about businesses. I rely a great deal on  
what I read and hear from Harvard Business Review, Knowledge at  
Wharton and other publications and Ipods downloads.
Clearly these sources represent a heavy biases for focusing on  
businesses that have profit as their primary goal.
