Hello Everyone:
Please mark your calendars and join us for the next meeting of the New York
Appreciative Inquiry Special Interest Group through the Organizational
Development Network of New York, Monday, March 19, 2007.
This session builds on our last meeting on February 20th when Judy Katz and
Abby Straus facilitated a fun and energizing session on "the best of how far
we have come in the last two years and visioning/dreaming of what we want out
of the coming year of meetings and as a community in the New York Area."
The minutes are below and also attached.
Judy, thank you for typing up the flipchart outputs from the 3 groups.
There was much energy around a number of ideas. Our March 19 meeting will build
on the overarching theme of wanting to share learnings, best practices,
ideas, events etc and being connected and strengthened. Leigh Wright and Robyn
Stratton-Berkessel volunteered to design and facilitate our forthcoming
meeting on March 19 with the focus on technologies that facilitate connectedness
and collaboration.
Their design will emphasize online community approaches and social
networking resources with demonstrations of some sites, such as Zaadz and
Appreciative Voices. The session will also provide an opportunity to play with the
technology together. Please note the room is wireless, so do bring your laptops!
An invitation: if you have a favorite tool, application, technology or
site that facilitates e-connectivity and will serve our community in its
objectives, please email Robyn _robyn at litglobal.com_ (mailto:robyn at litglobal.com)
and Leigh (_mdesigns at hotmail.com_ (mailto:mdesigns at hotmail.com) ) with what
you'd like to contribute to the agenda.
