The conference agenda is packed with activities to appeal to
anyone interested in working visually with groups or individuals in the
private, not-for-profit and public sectors. It's meant to push the
envelope on what it means to work visually -- from markers and paper to
computers and computer software. Some scheduled highlights include:

    * David Isaacs, co-creator of The World Cafe and David Sibbet,
Founder of The Grove Consultants International, will kick off the
conference with a World Café. Among the questions up for café
discussion: What if we stumbled onto examples of 21^st Century
visual language, what would that look like? With 21^st Century
communication on the rise, how will our industry change? Put
another way, can we survive if all we do is draw on the wall at
      meetings?

    * Kristina Hooper Woolsey, director of New Media thinking Project
and former director of Apple Multimedia Lab, will run a workshop
titled "Page Space Vs. Screen Time." She'll tackle the future of
page space -- and, implicitly, graphic recording as people spend
more and more time with their computers.

    * Joe Lambert of The Center for Digital Storytelling will
demonstrate how to use the computer to make a static graphic
recording chart come alive again after it's been created.

    * Jan Adkins, graphic artist par excellence and former instructor at
the Rhode Island School of Design will teach a session on Iconography

    * Carl Moore, founder of The Community Store, and Suzanne Otter,
graphic recorder, will show how using graphics with community
groups brings more success for those groups.

    * Christina Merkley of SHIFT-IT Coach will demonstrate how she uses
graphics and Law of Attraction methods with individuals, couples
and business partners in her coaching practice.

    * Brandy Agerbeck and Lynn Carruthers teach Graphic Recording 101
for new entrants into the field.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS INCLUDE ...

    * Compete to win the first ever graphically recorded chili cook-off.
    * See Bandelier National Monument and create a story map explaining
      the high points.
