[Ailist] Urgent help please - retirement of head of Law firm case study

Hi,
 
I am sure I have read in either the AI books I own, or on line, a case study about the head of an organisation (I recall a Law firm) who was retiring.
 
This leader was concerned about succession planning and the void that would be left behind and I believe an Appreciative Inquiry was conducted by the next tier of management to both ease the transition and provide a learning opportunity for them.
 
I have tried looking in the books and searching on AI commons but I cannot find a reference?
 
I am hoping that someone may recognise it?
