[Ailist] AI Colloquy in Bethel

Dear Colleagues: 

 

Many of us will be gathering in Bethel, Maine at the NTL summer campus for
the AI Colloquy, NTL Summer Institute, July 27 to 30. 

 

Joep de Jong from Holland (Director in British Telecom) who has been using
AI as a manager and director since 1994 will be joined by Dan Stone, who
uses AI to manage his large Financial Management and Consulting Firm, for a
session on AI for top level managing. Dan will also do a session on SOAR for
us - (remember SWAT?) - Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, Results!

 

Mo McKenna, our partner in Toronto, will be joined by Karen Lecke, an
amazing teacher, and 9 teenagers from Toronto who, after being involved in
an AI summit and project and attending our AI workshop have been doing
amazing projects around the city. 

 

Barbara Bunker whose new book tells us about over 70 whole system change
processes will share a session on what she has learned and observed. Barbara
will also join Edie and Charlie Seashore to share with AI folks the origins
of NTL and the field of Organization Development. And some of us old-timers
in the AI community will share stories about how AI evolved and fits into
all of that.

 

We have videos of Paula Comunelli's latest work using AI to create mentally
healthy people and systems as well as other films and videos for you to see.

 

Nancy Westrop Villarreal is coming from Monterrey, Mexico to share her work
using AI in Mexican corporations and organizations as well as using it in
her teaching at the University of Monterrey.

 

Lots of us will be sharing case studies, discussing the emerging field of AI
and its global reach, and other "open space" sessions that you can attend or
offer!
