Christopher

Many thanks - many many thanks - I think this will be a rich seed you planted for me.

Mike - be careful of what I ask for - I might get it - (for 50 years I haven't read Lord of the Rings - now I have to)

I do think that when I have read LOR it will be a very useful reference that I can use to help new people move to an vicarious experience of the emotional shift taht come come from answering the discovery questions.

And more thanks

Mike

PS Chris - can you aim me at some specific parts of the Celestine Prophecy?

Mike, have a look at the novels _The Bridge Across Forever_, Richard Bach and also _The Celestine Prophesy_, James Redfield.

For movies, watch the full version of Children Of A Lesser God, featuring William Hurt. This was based on the stage play of the same name.

The books and movies of _The Lord Of The Rings_,
J R R Tolkien, contain many such instances of Discovery dialogues followed by the characters involved feeling very uplifted, such as the woodland glade scene in which the Fellowship of the Ring gets formed. The involved characters stand in a circle facing inward and in turn each of them announces who he is to all of the others. Some connecting pieces of information gets revealed to them all. Are they in a more uplifted state-of-mind afterwards? Yes, since they are generally determined for Fellowship's primary purpose to get carried out! Or the scene in which two of the hobbits meet Treebeard the Ent.

  Comments from anyone welcome!

Has any body read a novel in which the ability of conversation to move the partners into an elevated feeling state is portrayed?
    - especially the deliberately selective and uplifting conversation of the Discovery Process.

    Or seen a movie?
