I find that when I must select a word that carries negative meaning  
along with positive meaning, I introduce the word with a story that  
the word reminds me of. I find that audiences are ready to see the  
word through your story even when it is different from the story they  
would tell. It is a very human way to help the listeners  
(participants) enter into your room for the time you are with them.
