[Ailist] AI Introduction

Bill, Mukul, Amanda, and others:
I am wondering about "Destiny" being framed as "tactics". This sounds to me
more like strategic planning and the mechanisms for achieving goals.
I tend to think of Destiny as a more dynamic, fluid way of being in
relationship with one another that "allows" the dream to emerge. Wondering
if "systems" describes Design, then perhaps "relational dynamics" describes
the Destiny that supports the systems design.
Thoughts on this?

Hello Mukul,
I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond to you.
Ultimately, I think business people will need to become more comfortable
with the
language of AI because there is some clear connection between the type of
language
being used and the philosophy that is AI. If they are uncomfortable with the
language, will they be comfortable with the AI philosophy? In the meantime,
there is
a very pragmatic issue to be addressed.
I recently took some training with Amanda Trosten-Bloom where this very
subject of
corporate comfort level with the language was discussed. Here are the terms
she
shared with us that may assist you (The bracketed information is my own
addition to
Amanda's thoughts:
* Discover = looking backwards (over our history as an organization)
* Positive Core = looking inwards (to determine what makes us a unique
organization)
* Dream = moving forward (with our vision of the future)
* Design = identifying systems (to implement our goals)
* Destiny = tactics (that can be used to implement our goals)
I hope this is helpful.
Regards,
Bill Scott BSW, MBA
