Center celebrates 2006, looks toward an exciting future 

2006 was a tremendous year for the Center for Business as an Agent of World
Benefit (B.A.W.B), and for its parent institution, the Weatherhead School of
Management at Case Western Reserve University. In this article, David
Cooperrider, Ph.D., co-founder of the Center, offers some highlights of what
2007 and beyond will have to offer.

Forum creates positive change initiatives 

The Global Forum, "Business as an Agent of World Benefit: Management
Knowledge Leading Positive Change," held at Case Western Reserve University
October 23 through 25, 2006, signaled a tipping of the whole system of
management and spawned many initiatives focused on positive change. The
forum connected business and academia in an effort to advance the role of
business in society.

resources in teaching BAWB 

A recent Net Impact survey shows students are demanding courses in
sustainability, global corporate responsibility, and social governance, to
name a few. This article addresses the role and responsibility of management
education, and highlight some of the innovations for socially-minded
business schools and educators.

International BAWB Conference in Brazil a success 

Ron Fry, keynote speaker at the 4th International B.A.W.B Conference in
Brazil and professor of organizational behavior at the Weatherhead School of
Management, provides an exciting look into the advances and successes shown
in the many stories of business as an agent of world benefit being told in
Brazil.
