[Ailist] Kucinich - Presidential candidate mention of AI in Washington

Elizabeth, Dennis Kucinich's wife, has brought AI to the Congressman and 
together they are using the principles of AI in more and more of what 
they do. One exciting development is a Peace Forum they convened, made 
up of Arabs, Jews, and peace activists from Northeast Ohio. They engage 
in dialogue and promote peace in the Middle East. While they continue to 
wrestle with understanding each other's history, world view, fears, and 
needs, they are seeking to discover the positive core values that 
motivate each group.

Applying AI to "intractable" conflicts brings many challenges. I have 
encouraged them to name the elephants and teach them to dance. When a 
group's identity is partially rooted in "the other" as enemy, 
transformation requires not only a shift in the narrative but in one's 
own identity. They are continuing the exploration, which is hopeful in 
itself.
