 From the chapter on the hypnagogic state:

 >>How many of us have had the experience of lying in bed at night  
and thinking, "I really misjudged that person," or "I see now that I  
didn't really understand what that experience was all about"? The  
hypnagogic state seems to facilitate reassessment.<<
