[Ailist] Reference needed

Seasons greetings, all!

Several years ago I read a reference to limiting a conference size to 100 --
allowing the participants to be related but not overwhelmed over the course
of a few days. Now I can't find said reference -- or anything remotely
resembling it. Any help out there? I need to cite a reference in a journal
article I'm writing for Landmark Education's Conference for Global
Transformation. Thanks to all who respond.
