Thanks to all of you who contributed ideas so quickly.

I've taken Carolyn's basic idea and generated 6 double sided cards. Each has
a question (including Helen's 'in-the-moment', Rob's 'beyond family' and
Richard's 'One good thing' ideas) to ask in a group of three. I thought
there would be better and foster greater interaction with a group of three
but I might change my mind yet!.

On the reverse of each card with the exception of one is some short text
supporting one of the principles on Ai and how the questions relate to it.
The one exception is the 'Tell me about one great thing that has happened to
you in the last year' card. The reverse of that just says 'get another drink
and enjoy telling a good story'..because that's very important too.

Using cards I'm not time restricted. Each has value in itself and if some
people only get through three of them then that's fine. Also the
perticipants can retain those cards and hopefully a little basic knowledge
of Ai although I have not used the term Appreciative Inquiry anywhere.

I'll test run it with some colleagues as always.
