The link Susan provided is a great start.  I am currently doing research
on "appreciative problem solving", which is the application AI to
problem solving within Lean environments - for my MSOD Thesis at
Pepperdine University.  

I'm heading to China in the morning, but would love to communicate
directly about this fascinating topic.  I have a senior management team
retreat scheduled for Jan 12, so I'll be working on this through the end
